Read what he has to say in his own words, in this Employee Journey Blog Post:
A. My Role in SILA is currently of a Project Engineer. Currently I am handling PMC jobs for different clients varying from bungalows in Alibaug, Interior Fit out works in Powai for a Brewery, Technical support to our procurement department and due diligence for Ryker in Baroda and for a few projects with Goldman Sachs.
A. I was born and brought up in the busy metropolitan city of Mumbai, where every kid wants to be better than the other. Living with my parents and finishing my schooling from St. Francis (Boys) High School, Borivali. I went forward to pursue my engineering from Rajasthan Technical University with my majors in Civil Engineering & further did a distance MBA from Sikkim – Manipal University in Project Management. I started my 1st job at Ray Engineering Limited where I was exposed to a lot of Industrial & Commercial projects(construction). It gave me a lot of clarity on what kind of work I want to take up in the future, which is when I got an opportunity to work with SILA, a growing Project Management company. Here, I was able to widen my horizon and got exposed to different verticals of project management. Till date I have worked on interior fit out projects, commercial projects and helped with the procurement process. My background has helped me to technically understand and execute the projects with my team at SILA.
A. There have been ups and downs throughout my career path though my goals were set. Today I take a lot of pride in backing my decision of pursuing Civil Engineering as a career option. I have received a lot of support from my family, they have always backed my instinct and decisions. SILA has given me multiple opportunities to learn & grow and has given me clarity in terms on identifying my strengths & weaknesses.
A. I would like to speak about one of the few projects that I delivered with a lot a passion and dedication, it was completing a Hotel Project- Mercure in Dwarka under the brand name of The ACCOR Group. Vendor Management, Client Co-ordination and working with labors on site has been a difficult task which has been executed by me with great perseverance under the guidance of my seniors. I would like to thank my team, my seniors, Mr. Himanshu Singh (VP – Projects) and Mr. Sahil Vora (Founder & MD) for showing their faith in me.
A. I give my 100% on the days I work and on the off days in the week, I like to spend time with myself. I do what I do best, I watch cricket and football matches. At times I participate or go play a sport with a couple of friends.
A. At SILA I can proudly say that I understand the interior fit-out business thoroughly, got an opportunity to explore & exhibit my knowledge in Civil Engineering at the organization. SILA has given me a lot of moments which I can feel happy about. I feel that I have been able to justice to my work and have lived up to the expectations of the senior management.
Thanks, Hareesh
